The Harriet tubman Experience
This program is a masterful dramatic presentation of the life and times of our American hero, Harriet Tubman. Born into slavery, Harriet Tubman became one of the most successful conductors on the Underground Railroad leading hundreds to freedom—never once losing a passenger. Tubman also served as a scout, spy, and nurse for the Union Army during the Civil War, and is considered the first African American woman to serve in the military. Journey through the life story of Harriet Tubman celebrating her courage, determination and inspiring heroism.
This one-woman production is suited for diverse audiences: adults, families, senior citizens, and students grades 3-12. The program runs approximately 45 minutes and can be paired with Student/Leadership Workshops, Lunch and Learn for Teachers, Classroom Visits and much more.
